If you are planning a visit to the north of Thailand, plan your visit from November to December or in early February. Do not plan your vacation in April and October as these are the worst months to visit Bangkok.
July to November are the months in which Thailand witnesses heavy rains. It is the time when the country is hit by the Asian monsoons and the humidity is at its highest. These months are suffocating humid and sticky.
The months from November to February are dry and cool.
The temperatures are at the highest from March to June.
November, December, January, February, March and July are the months in which Thailand travel and tourism is at its peak. If you want to avoid crowds and want to avail the discount rates, plan your tour in the months of September, October, April, May and June. But these months are not suitable for diving as the visibility and accessibility are not as good as the above mentioned tourist months.
People
75% of the population consists of Thais. 11% of it is Chinese, Malay are 3.5% of the total population. The rest of the population comprises of Khmer, Mon, Karen and Phuan tribes.

Buddhism is the religion of 95% of the population and 4% consists of Muslims.
