Taiwan is one of the most fascinating regions to visit and explore in terms of cultural and historical heritage. To make your trip more comfortable and convenient, the following tips are very helpful.

Currency of Taiwan

The denominations of notes (money) available in Taiwan are 100, 500 and 1,000. Other denominations are available as coins. You can change foreign currency at most hotels and banks. When exchanging your money, be sure to take receipts so you can change your leftover currency when you are leaving.

What to wear

Taiwan has four distinct seasons and your clothing should match the season in which you plan to visit. If you are planning to visit in the summer, you should pack clothes that are loose and light; clothes made of cotton are ideal. Your packing list should also include walking shoes and sportswear. Winters are a very cold and you should pack enough sweaters and heavy socks to keep you warm.

Medical services are not hard to find in Taiwan and are inexpensive. The healthcare services in Taiwan are always up to date and meet most medical requirements.
