          Singapore Map

Singapore is one of the most technologically developed places in the world. You can find people from various parts of the world here because many people choose it for vacation or business. Whatever your interest is, you will need to know your way around. This means that you have to have some idea of the locations of the main cities to help you get around and find places of interest.

In the northern part of Singapore is Sembawang Woodlands. A little below that and to the west is Kranji and a bit east is Yishun. Below Yishun is Seletar Airport and further east of that is Punggol. On the extreme east is Changai village and another airport called Changai International Airport. On the western part of Singapore is Choa Chu Kang. Further toward the west is Nanyang Technological University. Beklow this university is Tuas. In the center of Singapore is the Singapore Zoological gardens, a beautiful place. It is very green and serves as a landmark of Singapore. In about the same vicinity is Nee Soon, Ang Mo Kio and the Bukit Timah Nature Reserve. More towards the east from here is Paya Lebar and Toa Payoh.

In the southern part of Singapore is Clementi, the popular Orchard Road, Little India, Arab Street, China Town and the Colonial Districts. In addition to all the locations in the south, there are several other interesting sights. These include the Botanic Gardens, Alkafi Mansion, Mount Faber, the World Trade Center and Semola, all of which are located in the South. In the southeast, there is the UDMC Seafood Center and the east coast Sailing Club and lagoon.

In the southwest, there is the Chinese and Japanese Gardens, the Science Center, Tang Dynasty Village, Lurong Crocodile paradise and the Ming Village. Since there is so much to see in the south, there are many places to stay and many more fascinating areas as well. Places to eat out are plentiful and all cater to visitors. In addition to these locations, there are several small pieces of land outside the mainland of Singapore. These are places that visitors often travel to when they have the time.
