Boracay is a place that has many options for enjoyment and activity while you are on vacation. All around it there is water, which means that there are plenty of options for activity. Indeed, the place caters to all those who love the warm sun and the refreshing white sands around them.

One of the most interesting places for one to visit is Mount Luho. It is known to be the highest elevation in Boracay and is more than a hundred meters above sea level. For those that enjoy these kinds of heights, it is an amazing place to be, but for those who are not used to such high altitude it isn’t. The next place to visit is the Sunken Forest. Also known as the Dead Forest, this is a place that is visited frequently. It is located at the Southern end of the Bulabug Beach. There is also a fishpond with dead mangroves in it. The story behind this place is factual and tells one about how the forest really died. It happened because of a typhoon that broke the damns and flooded the area, destroying the plants and trees. In spite of the horrific story behind it, it must be asserted that it is quite a romantic place to be and makes an ideal place to take some photographs.
The next place that is recommended for you to visit is the Shell Museum at the Ilig-Iligan beach. This museum displays shells that are found in the area and has a collection of artifacts.
Another museum that is worth visiting is the Tirol Heritage Museum. It is located at the northern portion of the White Beach. It displays some Chinese artifacts that are strongly related to Boracay history. The bat caves are also interesting. This is a place that is intriguing for some and might appear to be creepy to others. The caves are located on the north East coast of Yapak. The bats here are cave bats and the giant fruit bats that have a wingspan of nearly four feet.
In addition to the interesting places for one to see in Boracay, trips to nearby areas can also be arranged. The surrounding areas are believed to have different species of birds and other life that are quite interesting. Also, there are rivers, caves and waterfalls in these areas that are worth visiting.
