Cebu Geography:
Cebu is a place that has a unique appearance on the map. It appears as a strip of land in the sea. This means that it has long stretches exposed to the sea, which is ideal for.
In describing the map of Cebu, we have presented locations according to geographical location, which North, South, East and West.
This is a standard means of presenting locations and gives one a fairly good idea where place are.
In the North of Cebu, there is a piece of land attached to Cebu by a small link. On this small piece of land, there are few locations namely Daanbantayan Jilantangan and Talisay in the extreme North, and Antipolo and Medellin in the South West. Coming down from this small piece of land attached to Cebu, which actually is a part of Cebu, we encounter Bogo. Following Bogo on the North East coast we come to Odiot.
Following the same coast line on the North East of Cebu, there is Tagnucan and after that is Borbon. Further down is Sogod and Catmon. Some more distance down towards the South is Carmen and Danao. Near about Danao and a bit inland is Mt Lanloga.
Coming towards the main part of the East Coast of Cebu, there is Compostela, Lilo-an, Consolacion and Mandaue all in a row. Coming down towards the South but still on the Eastern side of Cebu is Talisay, Naga, San Fernando and Carcar. From San Fernando onwards, there are few more spots on the east and South East of Cebu, namely Argao, Dalaguete Alcoy, Boljoon and Oslob.
Right at the Southern tip is Santander. As we round Santander and turn up the South Western coast we encounter Samboan and Ginatilan not very far apart from each other. Further up there is Malabuyoo and Alegria. Some distance further up to the South West there is Badian, Moalboal, Alcantara, Ronda and Dumanjaug. Heading North, you will come to Aloguisan and Toledo. Around this area is a Historic Church and Magellan Cross. Further up North are Balamban and Asturias. As we move towards the North, there is Caridad, Tuburan and Tabuelan and Tabunok.
With the large number of these places mentioned in the description of the Cebu map, it is apparent that there are numerous places at the beach front. This means that visitors would have a great time in Cebu not having to worry about a shortage of beaches. For visitors that come from places where they have no beaches in their country or city Cebu is like heaven on earth.
