There are great many things to see under water in different colors, shapes and sizes. These things include coral, colorful seaweed and anemones, seashells and limpets, thorny sea urchins and starfish. You can view these forms clearly because the water is clear. They are also ideal for deep-sea diving and snorkeling. Neighboring areas for diving and snorkeling that are easy to reach from Tioman include Chebeh, Sembilang, Tulai, Renggis, Seri Buat and Gut.

Sunbathing and swimming are great activities that can be done at the many beautiful beaches. Monkey Bay is recommended for swimming. Even if you do not like to swim, the beaches are beautiful enough to take a simple stroll. In addition to snorkeling and deep-sea diving, you can also go fishing in Tioman. You can hire a boat to go outside the marine park limits where you are allowed to fish. There are plenty of fish in the surrounding waters so by the end of the day you will probably have a catch that is impressive.

You can bar-b-que the catch on the beach in the evening. The types of fish, crabs and shellfish here include parrotfish, sea bass, groupers, morays, tunas, red snappers, blue marlins, squids, cuttlefish, stingrays, plaices, soles, cora trouts,shrimps, crabs, prawns and lobsters. Aside from the activities near or at sea, the primary inland activity is golf. There are well-known 18-hole golf courses of international standard that are beautiful. Another activity that some of the hotels may arrange is horse-back riding. This is interesting because you can see various sites while you ride through different parts of Tioman.
