The main places in Malacca include:

- Masjid Tanah and Tg. Kelling - western Malacca
- Ayer Molekand and Malacca Town - southern Malacca
- Merlimau - located in the deep southeast
- Jasin - in the east

In the southeast there is the Bukit China Hill, and in the east there is St. Peter's Church, one of the locations that people really fancy visiting.
