          Kuala Lumpur Map

The map of Kuala Lumpur is full of paths that run in a zigzag manner through the city. It is these paths that help you to get to the places you want, even though they may look very untidy. It is obvious that Kuala Lumpur was not a planned city, built has been developed at random. This can be said because of the fact that its locations are scattered, and the roads that link one place to another are not orderly. However, it must be asserted that the routes through the city are ones that fit the needs of the visitors and locals. This is because of the availability of transportation to get you from one part to another important part of the city.

To begin with there rail tracks that run from the North to the South. These tracks run right through the center of the city where there are many important places that people need to visit or go to as part of their daily lives. In addition to tracks running in from the North, there are also other transport facilities that follow similar patterns. Of course, taxis would be more convenient for one to use because you can reach your intended destination more conveniently rather than using a bus route.

Coming back to the route and direction that the tracks make through the city, the tracks that come down from the Batu caves and Temp Park runs directly South through the vicinity of the Putra World Trade Center. West of the Putra World Trade Center from here is the area known as the Jalan Sultan Salahuddin.

East of the Putra World Trade Center is the Chow Kit. Continuing straight down with the tracks from the Putra World Trade Center will take you to the Jalan Sultan Ismail. This particular area has three tracks in its vicinity.

From here, one of these tracks runs Eastwards to Sungai Kelang. Also, another track runs from Jalan Sultan Ismail to the South East where the Golden Triangle is. Below Jalan Sultan Ismail lies Little India with Sungai Gombak on its West. Beyond this region there are locations that are all considered to be in the South.

The Lake Gardens lie in the South West with Tasek Perdana lying more towards the South, and Brickfields below that. In the South East, directly below the Golden Triangle, is Pudu.
In the North-East, where many hotels are situated, there is abundant activity. This means that there is a lot to do in terms of shopping and entertainment surrounding the hotels. Another attractive area in this city is the Kuala Lumpur Tower located right in the middle of the city.
