There is plenty to do and see in Bali with its spectacular landscape and entertainment facilities. The sands and waters here are spectacular to play in. Bali has wonderful beaches and there is much more to enjoy in the water and on land. From going shopping to SCUBA diving, there is plenty to fill time. Beginning with the water entertainment there are activities such as surfing, diving, snorkeling, trekking, and sailing.
Kuta Beach
This is the perhaps the best known beach in Bali with its refreshing white sands stretching long distances. The beach starts at the airport in Tuban and goes to Canggu. Kuta Beach is ideal for sun bathing, surfing or even strolling. Strolling can best be enjoyed at dawn or sunset. This beach is not the best place for people who are not good swimmers, you are advised to stay close to the beach of you have doubts about your swimming ability.
Aside from water activities such as swimming and surfing, there are other things to do.
Shopping is good because of the fixed prices in recent years. However, there are also smaller shops that offer you things at prices that need to be bargained, do not give whatever price they ask.
Just like the street vendors, they may ask for too much so you have to bargain. You should bring them down as low as 25% of the asking price, but to settle at 35 to 40 % of what they ask is considered good. The things you can in Bali include: clothing and textiles, leather goods, swim wear, summer wear, jewelry from sea shells and silver with stones, local fabrics and sarongs, artworks, woodcarvings and handicrafts.
Aside from shopping, one of the most interesting things to do in Bali is to visit the museums. There are many that display the history of Bali and the surrounding areas. Some of the important museums include:
Bali Museum at Jalan Letkol Wisnu, Denpasar
