Denpasar:
This city is the center of commerce on the island and has all kinds of shops and restaurants. A particular location known for its cluster of stalls is the Pasar Badung marketplace. This place has nearly everything you can imagine. You can buy anything from salted fish to gold jewelry. Other kinds of shops and department stores offer you quite a range of items.
Uluwatu:
This place is located on the southern coast of Bali. In this region, Uluwatu is located with the ancient temple of Pura Luhur Uluwatu. The region has friendly monkeys that are used to visitors.
Tanah Lot:
The Rock of Tanah is an important site in Bali. It was naturally carved by water and wind. It forms part of the scenic beauty at sea.
Bedugul:
This is a brilliant mountainous location in Bali. In this area there is an abundance of fruits, vegetables and flowers. Not far from here is the peaceful crater lake of Mount Batur. There are also the impressive temple gates of Pura Ulun Danu.
Sangeh:
It is known that there are tribes of monkeys living in this area. The nutmeg forest here has hundreds of them and they are very bold, not fearing humans at all.
Taman Ayun:
This temple is located in the Mengwi district. Taman Ayun is located in a garden, the name itself means ‘beautiful garden’.
Batu Bulan:
A short distance away from Denpasar, heading towards Ubud, is a village of stone statues. There are various kinds of statues, most of them of fanged demons, warriors and animals. The amazing part about this village is that all the people are the well trained carvers of these statues.
Ubud:
This is a place that is renowned for its painters and paintings. The works created here are brilliant enough to attract artists and celebrities from other parts of the world. The location is wonderful with paddy fields around and a large banyan tree creating a picturesque atmosphere.
Goa Gajah:
This is an old place where there is a statue of a god inside. Its head is of an elephant, which is why the place is often referred to as the Elephant’s Cave. Close by is an interestingly carved boating area alongside what was once a Buddhist monastery.
Kintamani:
This place is located about 1500 meters above sea level. It is a village with a cold and damp climate. The climate here is suitable for growing oranges and passion Fruit.
