Another, Akloli hot springs about 75 kilometers from Mumbai houses the ashram of Swami Nitanand Maharaj. The hot springs here are among the hottest springs in Asia. They are believed to possess medicinal qualities due to the presence of high quantity of sulphur and other elements in them.
Lion Safari Park
Mumbai’s Lion Safari Park is the place to see. Here, lions and tigers move freely in the open forest land. Special care is taken for their preservation by the concerned authorities. Special tours are arranged for the tourists where they can take a tour of the park in an enclosed bus to see the lions which taken about 20 to 30 minutes after paying a small fee.
Powai Lake
Just 25 kilometers away from Mumbai, Powai Lake forms one of the busiest tourists’ spots. This lake is said to be infected with crocodiles, so it’s better to be cautious while visiting it.
Bhel Puri
