Hangzhou is a city full of ancient culture and art that acts which attracts many visitors from around the world. Hangzhou is known as “China’s paradise on earth”. The attractions in this city bring a good deal of revenue from tourism.
West Lake
in Hangzhou is a great lace to visit and enjoy the captivating beauty of the lake and its surrounding area. You take a boat ride to explore the area, which can easily take a whole day. There us a boat trip to the island of Xiaoying and see the ‘Three Pools’ which is made up of its own lakes and islands. In the northwest corner is Solitary Island, which is the largest island of its kind. Three other places at West Lake where you can enjoy yourself include Huagang Fish Pool, the Mausoleum of Yue Fei and the Su Causeway. Further from the center of the city is the Longjing Tea Plantation which is the birth place of the best tea in China. The plantation is covered with a huge array of tea bushes.
If you plan to truly enjoy a cup of tea, it is worthwhile to have it at the Tiger Running Spring, which is the best kept park in Hangzhou. This park is filled with many teahouses set amidst a beautiful landscape. You can also visit the Lingyin Temple which is a huge Buddhist sanctuary. If you prefer a little more excitement there are a number of bars and discos in Hangzhou. A few of them are:

Didi is a local Chinese disco that plays both Mandarin and Western tunes. It gives visitors the option of bringing their own CD’s to play for the crowd. This place is where students come to hang out and have fun.

LA Disco is a famous music center for most foreign visitors and locals alike. It is well-known for its collection of dance music and for the huge trampoline which occupies the middle of the dance floor.
Soho

Soho is an intimate pub that is often visited by locals. It has cheap beer and a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere.
