This palace was built by the Sultan of Brunei to live in with his 2 wives. The building cost was about $400 million. It has 1,788 rooms, 257 bathrooms, 18 elevators, 564 chandeliers, 44 staircases, a mosque that holds 1, 500 people and a banquet hall that caters to 4,000 guests.
It also has 5 swimming pools, air conditioned stables for 200 polo ponies and a huge collection of 165 Rolls Royce, airplanes and helicopters. The palace was build next to the river Brunei which gives it a more scenic look.
